I am unable to post this in suggestion, as its locked for some reason i don't know about.
I been wanting to make Golems but it seems to me unfinished, or poorly designed (no offence attended).
I would like to suggest changes to Golems, make them level based not just level 15 and make them harder to make as you progress.
Golem types: level 5 Clay Golem, level 10 Iron Golem, Level 15 Stone Golem, level 20 Steel Golem, level 25 Mithril Golem and level 30 Adamantine Golem.
Body's of Golems made from suggested types of Golems as above.
Make each type of Golem heart made from different gems.
Such as:
Clay golem has Topaz heart, Iron golem has Fire opal heart, Stone golem has a Sapphire heart, Steel golem has Ruby heart, Mithril golem has Diamond heart, Adamantine golem has Emerald heart.
Spell focus:
Transmutation able to make Clay and Iron Golems.
Greater Transmutation able to make Stone and Steel Golems.
Epic transmutation able to make Mithril and Adamantine Golems.
Finaly I think Golem control stones is to be made from the Art trade, or still have them found in chest but have the control stones repairable but you still loose the Golem after it dies.

There's been a long time golem rework on the to do list, I posted a very large suggestion on the matter a good while back and one of the contributors confirmed for me that it's certainly something that will be taken on, eventually.

Making transmutation better would be a mistake, it's already very good.
Tying it to dweomering would be better.
