Cordorian Politics!

Post by Rwby » Tue Jul 10, 2018 11:50 am

And as we finally move into election season, I think it's time for a brief Kudos from Katharyn for the wild ride she's had these last few weeks.

To our now deposed Chancellor, for attempting to manage an impossible situation and causing a vast amount of gossip and conspiracy.

To our beloved/reviled Trade Minister, Qasi, for the best speeches, the most controversial decisions, and for creating a faction out of nothing.

To the Cordor guard, for providing a hub of roleplay and investigation.

And the Magistrates and the trade Commissars for providing a very visable presence of the Cordorian Administration.

And of course, to all the bystanders, candidates, traitors and heros that make it all possible!

I've only been watching from the sidelines, but it seems like an amazing bit of politic play from Rann, Ruig, Qasi, Alastroina and the countless others.
Katernin Bersk, Chancellor of Divination; Kerri Amblecrown, Paladin of Milil; Xull'kacha Auvry'rae, Redcap Fey-pacted; Sadia yr Thuravya el Bhirax, Priestess of Umberlee; Lissa Whitehorn, Archmage of Artifice

Kudos to Rhann,
To my knowledge the first character to bring down an all powerful Chancellor and his cohorts. Kudos for the great RP of all that factions characters. Literally Amazing...

And Kudos for Thad, Taelina and Henrik surviving all the plots against them and keeping their cool and their heads down, An example of restraint.

Kudos to the many people who waited to spring into action to help the crafters of Cordor.

The amount of fantastic roleplay that this entire situation has generated on all fronts is truly incredible.

Mission accomplished, everyone.

I would really like to give a huge shoutout to Rann McClow, who has been the picture of grace in character and out through EVERYTHING. Props to you, my dude!

I Have to give kudos to the Minex Mercantile... Rann, Emelina, Kazen, Silacadhiel... you made my toon, Zaravella feel that she belongs in something special. Thanks for being welcoming to her and being supportive. Got your back.

I love how this current political intrigue developed some characters around my toon that I now see them in a different light. It made for such a fun RP. I WISH I have more time spent in-game.

Thaddeus, The Rogue Extraordinaire, Graddaigh..... BIG KUDOS for being such a cool-headed character, even with all the things he's being put through.

The politicians that Rann ousted... Godz... big kudos, you all started this all... I hope there are no hard feelings around.

I know theres no hard feelings from me. I am having so much fun!

Alastriona and that disguised man and/or assassin - I found at Rayne's Landing - also thank you for that bit of pvp I got in the midst of all the RP. I've been looking for one lmao. Next time I'll do better... y'all caught me off guard.. literally surprised to see you both and Rann at Rayne's Landing.

Devon Blake - how can I forget how supportive you are. Literally, you are Zaravella's rock. Thank you for being there through everything!

Now.. shall we talk of war...?

Always glad to see newer players getting involved in events and mixing it up a little, and don't worry about how things turned out. A little practice, and pretty soon you won't be caught off guard by fights you buff for and start yourself.

And next time, remember to hostile the other party before you start PvP ;) .

The RP this evening was great. From the party leading up to the election results, to the announcement and attack, to all the RP after. I had a lot of fun this evening and want to thank everyone for making the server what it is. Including the DMs who were around, and the dev team that programmed all these systems in. Today I learned that you can become a lycanthrope through pvm, when someone started transforming during the town hall meeting. That is so cool.

*She exhales slowly as the cars come to a stop with a hiss. The bar rises from her lap and she steps out onto the platform. The Ride has ended.*

One of the most tense elections of Cordorian History, followed by one of it's longest meetings.

Cordor Prevails, indeed.

It has all definitely been very interesting both IG and OOC.
Talg Two Fingers - A mighty Trog fighting for his brothers.

Retired:
Poe Pimmin - the bard looking for his song
Brugga Stonehelm - the not so priestly priest of Moradin
