The balance system (For mobs)
Been looking at the balance system recently with my ranger, and it does not seem like there is anything going on with it currently. It might be time taking a look at the script? I really enjoyed when creature used to spread, and grow stronger.

Re: The balance system (For mobs)
I can try to test this with my Avatar later and see if it is not working properly.

Re: The balance system (For mobs)
It never seems to go out of balance, is what I mean. And from what I have heard, using supplies to increase the balance is ridicilously expensive, and the effects vanish almost instantly.
Re: The balance system (For mobs)
I was completely certain that system was removed utterly.
I remember when it was in effect in it's hayday, and the areas mobs used to spread into, and I've no seen any of them do such, in any area, in ~years~.
I too, miss it.

Re: The balance system (For mobs)
Now that you mention it, it's been a long time since Guldorand was surrounded by Talassians, and that used to be a weekly thing.
Re: The balance system (For mobs)
I managed to get it to work (with Talassans near Guld, ironically) a few months back, but it took along the lines of 650k in raw resources to get the talassans to spread one area east for precisely 2 RL hours before it was immediately set back to base level by presumably a wayward helpful Druid.
Amazing system that isn't viable to mess with in any way shape or form, IMO. I wish it worked, or worked better or differently or something, because I think it's super cool, especally if there was a way to become non-hostile with the wildlife.

Re: The balance system (For mobs)
I mentioned it on Arelith's discord but couldn't get an answer. Around four hours ago, I've teleported to the Howling Pass south area with the intention of visiting Guldorand. To my surprise, the usual Giant/Wereboar/Mountain Lion spawns were exchanged for Talassian ones. So, was it someone playing with the Balance system like TimeAdept did, or did the Balance system get fixed?
Re: The balance system (For mobs)
I found a bug in it last week introduced by some area work, and fixed it. No idea if the fix is live yet. However, it's been non-functional for about a year.

I knew I wasn't going crazy. Bless. Thank you for fixing it.

Re: The balance system (For mobs)
That doesn't sound relevant to this thread. You should PM a DM about that.
