Animal companion ripping apart it's druid?
So three times now I've been totally destroyed by my panther. Last time was in the Mound. Happens immediately after transition to new area. No saves in the combat log. Panther wasn't attacked by anything yet. Is it being dominated but no save showing up? something else? What a vicious and quick death lol.

Panther seems remarkably susceptible to becoming a murder kitty out of nowhere. Did you hit it with any AoE spell whatsoever? Entangle? Grease? Web? Stonehold? etc etc etc... this tends to immediately make it murder you.

Had this happen to me recently with a party members summon. Was mauled on transition and made into its snack. Didn't have any AoE stuff to hit it at that time.

Actually after posting this it happened to an unfortunate barbarian that was with me. My panther stomped him good. Seems pretty random though I can say i had not had any area spells or damage spells out. There's no damage to kitty in logs. Just like a cat though. Freaking evil sociopaths.

Who wants to make toons called Sigfreid and Floyd with me. Go from town to town putting on performances waiting for the inevitable mauling.

Sounds like someone didn't invest in Animal Empathy.
RP only starts at 30 if you're a coward.

Twould be good to get with you in game to test some things...throw some spells and see what triggers it.

Could it be that friendly AoE buffs could make the panther hostile as well? Were any friendly AoE spells/wards/buffs on or cast?
Or perhaps it's just a bug with transitioning that is kicking the panther out of the party everytime you transition
EDIT:Example of what i am trying to mean as a friendly buff:Aura of Glory

My family were all knights, but none protected those who cannot fight for themselves. They all cared about their noble status more than anything else.I would be a true knight,i would train on the ways of the paladin -Arcavius Ryde
