EE Graphical Options
Does anyone here know if on EE we will be able to stay with the original game graphics (or the closest as possible to it) for us potato users? (this came up when i saw the new Aribeth and thought: My laptop will totally become super laggy if there isnt a way to have the graphics close to original,it always lags a lot as it is on big events )

The system requirements for NWN EE are practically nonexistent, and the fairly minor changes they've made to graphics can all be disabled. What processor and video card does your potatotop have?
Rolled: Helene d'Arque, Sara Lyonall
Shelved: Kels Vetian, Cin ys'Andalis, Saul Haidt
Playing: Oshe Jordain

Aa for the high res model stuff like aribeth, yes in the lifestream they said it would be able to deactivate that stuff as well. Right before the joke about people running 16 year old toasters.

You're fine LUL.
For all potato users keep in mind you need at least win 7, 8 or 10 though, otherwise EE won't run. (Assuming people on a potato still have vista and that crap.)

Re: EE Graphical Options
If you can run NWN today just fine then EE with the standard models and no shader effects active you should be just fine.

Re: EE Graphical Options
An alternate question, will we be able to use the new models on Arelith: EE?
Re: EE Graphical Options
If I understand the livestream right the high res models will be a update of current models. So yes you can. But I might be wrong.

Re: EE Graphical Options
Honestly i like the high res aribeth model they demonstrate on the stream but if you want it to look good then all models npc, pc and creaters need that look in my oppinion.
Re: EE Graphical Options
They are working to do it for all models.

Re: EE Graphical Options
Yea this was just a demo
Re: EE Graphical Options
I just hope they keep the old-school aesthetic as otherwise the game will just look bad and out of place.
I mean, just look at NWN2 for example which looks dated A F... Just terrible.
The sole reason NWN1 looks alright even after decades have passed, is because every texture looks super simplistic and thus aged well.
