Surface Map (WIP)
Just a simple map I've been working on today. Gathered the Pax tiles today.
Still a work in progress must might prove useful to new players.

COOL! just one thing i noticed.. its not the surface server, but the city and planes. around Cordor.

Nice idea! I worked on something similar back a year ago or so (to try to track what zones had harvest nodes) and though it's incomplete and old, might still help.

What program do you use to convert the screen shots to a different format and to piece them together ?

Could turn it into an IC endeavour and get other people involved in mapping certain parts of the island? Sharing the workload will save a heck of time.

I've been thinking about something like that, but the main issue is that it involves a lot of ooc stuff, which might ruin the immersion. But perhaps it is time for a revival of the Cordor Cartography guild.

I am doing it in photoshop, but I'm using the resolution of the tiles for scaling so its possible that the scale would be off.

Nice! I never got the areas in the center to fit, especially arelith forest. Elf magic at work (sexy elven fun times?).

Tried this once as well. Had all of last version of Cordor through road along The Tower -> Bendir -> Myon -> Wharftown. Also the Iron Mine and the Orc Cave in separate files since I was also mapping mining nodes. I'll see if my project file is still kicking around in a backup. It was quite a large PSD file as I remember.

The truth is that the areas don’t fit together. Some areas like arelith forest are much larger than their “place.” Others have transitions on the same side that go to very different areas. Etc.
