Morderon Update

Post by Mirw » Mon Oct 23, 2017 3:53 pm

What does this mean?

Additional details on the above:
Support/Upkeep levels (introductory prices):
Low (Default): Yearly cost of 1k resources.
Medium: Yearly cost of 2k resources
High: Yearly cost of 3k resources.
The settlement also gets charged when it increases it's support level, but only the difference between their current support level and the new support level.
So if raising your support level doesn't work don't keep hitting it as you'll drain your resources :P

This is in regard to the castles recently released. They will offer various perks to the citizenry of the settlement that controls them, and some of those perks will only be available if the castle has a high level of support from the controlling settlement.

The details will have to be learned in-game.

Support level would probably be the NPC presence in the castle. You can have more advanced features in the castle, but you'll need to pay everybody's salaries and upkeep.

So... Basically, if you hire more NPCs, you need to pay them. You can't hire them individually, you can only set if you want low/medium/high NPC presence.

Be the change you want to see, and shape the server because of it. Players can absolutely help keep their fellow players accountable.

Well it already did, about 4 years ago when Andunor was launched (The land brokerage), this is the surface iteration of that system. Though the expansion of the system may allow for more content to the UD version, but after the last few frantic months I'm definitely not commiting to anything right now.

As I say though, I'll make a more detailed forum post later on, as I think there are a number of questions players would like to see answered.
