Dominated creatures teleport to their initial location

I've noticed something odd:
When you pass through transitions, creatures you dominate via lasso or animal empathy seem to magically teleport to location where they were initially found.
Thye stay there till they catch up with you again (animal empathy), teleport to you via script (lasso), or till you waste "fetch" on them.
It is quite annoying.
