Gambling Den Idea

Just tossing this out as a thing for the devs to think about. The buildings, such as the place next to the CLover with the speedy or the buildings outside of Cordor with the shops, are nice. But for RP they seem to go mostly unused. it's mostly people walk in, check the shop, then leave. So seeing some of the screen caps from the Moonsea module got me thinking.

I know the intent was to make them open so player can use them for whatever, but few seem to try or those who do don't have a lot of success. For disclosure I own the place next to the Clover, but the CLover large building complex has always seemed odd to me. The small guarded door area, seems a waste and too small. So why not make a larger player owned gambling den, those screen shots from the new module look awesome. Make the large area with the speedy a player owned gambling hall, with a secure back area for "special" games and such. Keep the Clover and other area separate as it is now, but change the small back area and the area with the speedy,

I just think if some of the player owned generic areas with shops might benefit and get used for stuff more if some were given some identity.

While working on Tyrants I had this very much in mind, indeed for years I've wanted a full blown casino on Arelith.

What changed is Tyrants gave us the placaebles I need.

So yes, a casino is very much planned, but I won't lift the lid on where and how yet.

Moving this to approved, purely because it is already happening.
