So, while trying to make sure that my accounts are linked properly, I ran into another issue... the EE version has a limit on how long your username can be.
I have alts that are linked to some usernames that are longer than this limit. I can't connect with those usernames, the game tells me that there are unallowed characters and winds up truncating letters until the login name fits. Will this pose a problem in terms of being able to use my characters, or can I just "fix" it by making up new, shorter usernames?

Have you tried modifying nwnplayer.ini
Under profile place:
Player Name=Put your playername here
and see if you can bypass it that way?

It refuses login name at connection and asks me to pick a new one.
Think it's safe to say that the horde of ridiculous login names I have are lost
