AB over Ac. If I am to die I want to go down swinging for the fences over hiding behind my shield. As been said before you can't kill something if you can't hit it. You might have a 70 AC, but if your AB is too low, you won't be able to hit them either.

That's why the gods invented True Strike pots. And now you can stack them to ridiculous levels in your inventory.

AC over AB always. The best offense is a good defense and since my character is half wizard he does not need to hit things in melee anyway.

Characters with mediocre offensive capabilities are prone to utter disregard.

My character does not particularly care what others think of him or their opinions in general. He regards most people and their opinions and beliefs with amusement and pity for those who are not his enemies an hatred and contempt for those who are.
Better to do mediocre damage and survive then do uber damage and die. The game is not supposed to be a popularity contest anyway.

I managed to have a balance in AB and AC for my weaponmaster. My Mage is definately low on both but high spell DC (gonna be a pure level 30 wizard), my Archer path ranger is high on AB and low on AC, but she is always "guarded" by paladins or knights. My new rogue is definately high AB and low on AC.
Overall I think the best defense is an overwhelming offense and I usually favor high AB.
In another level 40 pvp server.... I once made a paladin-smiter which can deal up to 1200 HP damage per smite... I may do that build in Arelith... on my next one.
