Worst thing is when people just start literally running through a dungeon with zero RP with no indication that's what you all wanted to do.

I know that some people just want to chillax and zombie circlegrinding for a while.
Heck, sometimes even I want to drag my face by the keyboard and get stupid amounts of experience to feed that little powergaming imp we all have inside, but in most cases, if I try to shoot people with some RP and they nod it off, that will be the moment I'm dipping the head and taking my leave.
Misc Changes, with the Feats and Skills sublinks.
Available races
Spell Changes
Class Mechanics
Command Guide

Take a look before asking your questions!

Strange... why wait for something to happen when you can MAKE something happen yourself?

We should stay open here. It is completly ok to be bored on Arleth (what is strange yes because you could do somthing else), to have no clue what to do, or to just not want to communicate to anyone atm...

Also sometimes there are no singals around you that call for interaction - e.g. when all are rushing bussy.

Sure you can start something alltimes. But even something good can be made better. :)

Waiting around is the worst, and as a newb to the server without that many ooc friends I often find myself pushing the limits of what I can do alone. While I understand why the xp gain is the way it is when it comes to level variation, I truly do believe that if everyone got xp for their level as opposed to the highest level in the party within 5 levels of each other it would inspire people like me to search out for groups more.

What about something like...

The higher the party level the more challenging spawns (or higher risk of dangerous spawns even in low level areas)...
+ stronger spawns focus more on higher levels in the party...

Whatever :)

Adventuring xp helps too not care too much about higher levels robbing xp

Looking for people to repair my stuff is probably my number one least favorite thing.
Some builds I've worked on (not recommended):
Charisma Battlecleric
"E-Dodge Brycer"

Invest 1 point into each of the available trades and roll a lot of 20s

Why can't I click walking four times? I hate walking so much, I hate it so so much. Walking 20 minutes to some place to find it void of any players too many times ended my days of shift clicking.

Owlbears are the only thing keeping Arelith from the D&D experience.

In the minority here but I went through the settlement system/leadership stuff/prominent-settlement-characters thing a few times and I'm entirely over it. I never hopped on the game of thrones train I guess so politics in high fantasy just sort of bores me. If I'm playing D&D, I want to be doing D&D stuff.

I despise LFG. It's so hard anymore to know who's at your level without being in the vicinity. And most folk come with pre-made parties and their RP isn't inclusive.

I hate exploring. It's just a fancy word for being lost and pretending you're having a good time.
