Guldorand - What is to come.

I'll be teasing some images for the upcoming major update to Arelith this week over our Twitter account, as we continue development on the first round of HAK content for Arelith.

Hoooooly... I can't curse on here, right. Is there a way people can still view HAK preparations?

Once we've got a bit futher along I'll be inviting Patrons to take a tour again, and then again later to test content.

Keeping an eye on that twitter page will provide opportunities to see content before testing and release.

We recently dove back in and took some more.

Wow looks amazing! Do you have any idea on how it may affect overall performance? I know some folks are utilizing some older machines.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh I can't wait to see what other Mods will be added :'D specially for magical stuff and character customization (Mostly wizard staves.. i know silly, but i've always wanted the center of Astra's to be purple xD)

It all looks so pretty!

That nation is 'Guldorand', built around a city of the same name. At its southern border lies the logging camp, which will revert to being just that.
If understood it correctly, the current Guldorand town will still remain, but in the capacity of a logging camp as it once was, not as a town. If this is indeed the case, how will it work? Perhaps as a leaderless small settlement like Greyhammer is?

If the current Gulderond is not going to be a town anymore then where will the new Gulderond be and how big will it be?

While the thing on screenshot is amazing, it leaves me with a bad taste. As it many times outdoes old Myon (which, according to the text), is to rule over it…).

All of this is in preparation for the automated HAK downloader. If that happens then there are many excellent overrides that vastly impove the old tilsets, as well as affording a wealth of new ones.

Myon, as a high enclave of the elven race will look better immediately, and almost certainly later be revisted, using one of these tilesets.

But as I said, even if not. HAK reskinning of many exisiting structures and placeables will be improved via this:

The last thing there already exists as an override via the Steam Workshop, so you can try it out today, though the HAK version is considerably better quality.

Know I was looking at those just light night, and thinking how a more tree-and-wood themed Myon would be waaay better then the current rather cold stone one.

The marble is not bad, it is just rather old and too static over years.

Well lets wait and see what Guldorand district adds. Hopefully not more conflicts with non elves

I think it will be fine~ It's run by a half-elf after all! (Alice deserves alllll the praise for how well she's run that place)
Sides, most do go to Guld, (It is a pretty big melting pot,) and most do want housing up there since it's what Cordor could be if...Well, it wasn't dumb.
