Crafting and Quality of Life

Post by Algol » Tue May 07, 2024 5:43 am

Hello! First of all I'm sorry if this post veers too much into suggestion territory. But I think crafting system has some annoying issues:

1) Sub-menus and lack of them:

Smithing has too many sub-menus. I wonder if it'd be possible to group them together for ease of use. For example something like simple weapons, martial weapons and exotic weapons as super-sub menus for forging. On the other end of spectrum gems could be broken down to to several sub-menus. Gem, gem dust, bulk gems and prisms.

2) Bulk recipes:

These are amazing! But some items usually made in bulk(Portal lenses, catalysts, temporary essences, sequencers, containers...) lack them. Also if sequencers and containers had them it'd make supplying them in shops much more convenient and profitable to sell (assuming results are stacked, takes less slots so more profit per slot). This would make them more accessible for low level characters who really need them.
