Stormy Days In Cordor

Post by IUseMagicalHatsToHideOblivion » Mon Apr 08, 2024 5:07 pm

Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone else thought Cordor has a rather absurd amount of thunderstorms on the daily?

I love random lightning zapping people as much as the next person, though for me and a few others it seems to be getting a bit silly.

One of the noticeable places this can happen is at the Lanceboard, and whilst it was funny from a story perspective during Abi/Albs wedding to have our full decorations destroyed more or less, I could see this becoming a bit of a pain for anyone that wants to run tournaments or other events there that rely on fixtures.

I'd enjoy to see some form of in game mechanic that the city could invest into to lessen the amount of them, personally.

It's a meme how much it rains/thunderstorms in Cordor at this point.
It makes sense given it's quite literally on the coast- but so is Guldorand.
Less rain in general would make me happy... poor Farmland fixtures have taken a beating lately.

OR umbrellas. I'll take the rain if we get umbrellas.

It's low-key a soft mood debuff. So people might stop bogging down the server by overpopulating those few areas.

I'm fine with the rain, but when is cordor going to be redone as a proper gothic horror setting
