But I am doing to say it now, - I can also very much see this having the same issues that the Slave system currently has, so we should prepare ourselves for that.
I said this in the other thread, but the prison could easily double as an evil-friendly settlement on the surface if evil non-prisoners could sneak in and out and it had some basic settlement amenities. Quarters, bank, shops etc to represent an underground economy.

I would love to see the use of stockades. Can we get some tomatoes to throw???

Rotten fruit is currently a craftable projectile! Herbalism, DC 11, does no damage but inflicts blindness. It'd be perfect for this.
