MULTIPLE potions with same spell!
Could we please get rid of multiple potions but with different name which never stack together?
Clarity potion, Lemur wine and so on. Endurance and another wine. The Lemur Wine is worst it as same look as clarity potion, same effects just different name.

Re: MULTIPLE potions with same spell!
Lemur Wine is rarer than Clarity, but it's usable by characters who are restricted from using magic items. The other wines are the same. They're meant as an option for Kensai and PoTF Sorcerers.
Re: MULTIPLE potions with same spell!
Kensai can use all potions and thus can use regular Clarity potions.

I guess just PoTF then, unless those have been changed.

Let them use these potions then and remove double items for simplicity?

I'd be tempted to go this route, honestly, since a bunch of the wines that should be mundane aren't. Unless that's been fixed since I last checked?flower wrote:PinataPlethora wrote:I guess just PoTF then, unless those have been changed.

Admittedly this does open up some low-level buffs and spells to TFs, but nothing too class-breaking that I can thing of off the top of my head.

Re: MULTIPLE potions with same spell!
They can already drink Sweetberry wine. Now I hear they can drink Lumer Wine? They already access everything they need. Opening all of the options for them doesnt sound like a game breaker to me from this standpoint.Baron Saturday wrote:I'd be tempted to go this route, honestly, since a bunch of the wines that should be mundane aren't. These different potions are a lovely nod to immersion and adds breadth to the world. It'd be a shame to lose them.

Is it tho? I'm hard pressed to understand how sweetberries give you haste. Might as well relabel them redbull.Cataclysm of Iron wrote:These different potions are a lovely nod to immersion and adds breadth to the world. It'd be a shame to lose them.

I am for diversity in items.
But having one type of potion under X different names is hardly a diversity.

Re: MULTIPLE potions with same spell!
I think the mundane variants of potions should remain in the game.
There's areas that are no-magic areas, where I imagine regular potions don't work, and therefore these may prove very important to have on hand in such areas.

Easiest thing then make all potions mundane by default sorting all this mess for all classes needing them and all these places too.
