So I built a Hexblade on the PGCC server and I was underwhelmed.
What is the preferred build for a Hexblade? STR build without heavy armor proficiency seemed to have a meh AC. Spell list topping out at level 4 was also rather meh. And the number of spells available at level thirty (full Hex) with an 18 base Charisma seemed to be lackluster as well. Is there a good Hex build or is that a class as useless as a wizard with no INT?
Hexblade is a deprecated class atm, and has been reworked into the new Harbinger class. Give that a spin instead!

I'd go Harbinger as that's the class. I have a build that does 52-54 AC and 50 AB one handing a Cav sword. I'm sure if someone tinkered with it, it could get the AC a lot higher with shield or if you wanted to lean into two-hand it could do a lot more damage.
