Spellsword epic casting

The game does not note that spellsword loses access to epic spells as one of it's drawbacks when selecting the class, but the wiki says it does. Which is the case?

What do you mean by "the game?" The entry area dialogue?

You do lose access to all epic spells except Epic Mage Armor. You may be able to choose the feats themselves but you can't use them.

I guess those are just to give a general sense of the path, they're definitely not complete and in some cases may even be inaccurate (are totem druids up to date for example? they weren't last year.)

That is what it is, but if you're going to play a spellsword you should read all you can on the wiki and forum about them, you kind of need to build them following guidelines and they're not too forgiving to "winging it."
