Not really a Build question, but how does the Slave background work?
Looking for something different, but have never played outside of Cordor.

Basically you start with a collar in the Underdark. Having a collar goes into your description and everyone will know you’re a slave. You will start out with no owner but you can expect to be scooped up pretty quick if you stick around.
You should expect to be treated very poorly overall, but exceptions are everywhere as usual.
Mechanically speaking: you can be forcefully summoned into a cage at any time when you have a collar.
You have no bonus language, including undercommon, which seems a bit silly so be ready to spend the first few days or weeks unable to understand literally anyone. Get a book of undercommon in the East Wheel as soon as physically possible.
