Availability of shield wands/scrolls

It seem to me the availability of these things would help the meta of two hand builds. A full tier shield normslly gives 6 ac. Shield spell gives 4 ac bur wielding two handed gives us 2 ab. Yes ypu have to waste time and resources though, but it would help said builds not be quite as inferior.

There are plenty potions of shielding around, no?

Also it’s +4 deflection AC, not shield AC so it’s only +1 if you have an adamantium helmet.

Talk to Bioware, or now Beamdog. Still stops MM (and Isaacs if you have SF Abjuration). Wait until you see what they did to Mage Armor

I played on a hakless server back in 1.68 that amended the mage armor spell back to pnp, so that's an Arelith decision really to keep it as is. Kinda would break balance to tweak it back to PnP from Arelith's current state though

Nwn way of handeling mage armor is better anyways for the purposes of nwn. (Like buffing team mates). Having no way to get shield ac without an actaul shield in hand however is not cool. (Vs floating shields or even the shield spell)

Shield and mage armor scrolls and inexpensive and very easy to acquire. FOIG.

You can buy them from almost any scroll vendor for cheaps (Erudite Arcanum or the dude in the Arcane Tower)
