Forest Gnome Feylock Build
Hey everyone. I've decided to retire my rogue/SD and make a forest gnome feylock! I thought the stats and the RP elements would go well together. I have some rough ideas about this build but if anyone wants to give me an in depth guide, That would be great! Thanks!

Re: Forest Gnome Feylock Build
I feel like I'm copy pasting this often these days hahaha but I have this post on "speed dial". Really helped me with my Fiendlock.

Are you going to play surface or UD? I have to admit that the RP elements of the warlock are awesome but at the same time its almost a death sentence on the surface...

Re: Forest Gnome Feylock Build
Ironically a forest gnome is more prosecuted in the UD than a warlock
Re: Forest Gnome Feylock Build
Hm. Why would a forest gnome go for a longer stay in the Underdark?

Only for humans and... I wanna say half-orcs? No other races get the outcast start option, at least not last I checked.

Re: Forest Gnome Feylock Build
So this is what was on the link:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Slightly more difficult to play than the fiend variant due to not having a summon or darkness, but no less powerful (arguably more powerful if played right). Also, INFINITE HASTES.
Starting Abilities:
STR 8-12
DEX 12-14
CON 18-20
WIS 8
INT 12-14
CHA 16
Recommended Gifts: CHA, CON. STR for better carry capacity, INT for more skill points, DEX for +1 AB.
I recommend having some STR in order to wear armor without being encumbered, even if you get bull's strength.

Re: Forest Gnome Feylock Build
One thing to consider with the second build: It's steering you towards templar armor/tower shield, which might not fit with your vision of a forest gnome feylock.
As for Cortex's build, it remains solid, but was created in a time when feylocks were considerably stronger than they are now, before they traded DR for DI and lost mass haste.

Re: Forest Gnome Feylock Build
The templar armor and shield won't bother me. I can always customize my forest gnome to be more.... gnomey..... and foresty. Also I am thinking about getting the Deep Gnome Rune Hammer forged for me.... if i can find someone to do it.Baron Saturday wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 6:23 pmOne thing to consider with the second build: It's steering you towards templar armor/tower shield, which might not fit with your vision of a forest gnome feylock.
