3 consecutive levels restriction.

Post by Void » Thu May 17, 2018 2:28 pm

How do they work, exactly? Do they mean that if I take 3 levels of rogue and 3 levels of wizard, and start taking rogue levels again, I'll have to take 3 consecutive levels again?

Or does restriction cover only the first time when the new class is taken.

Only the first time, as you must have at least 3 levels in any "new" class. After that you could go wiz, rogue, wiz, rogue, wiz, rogue till 30.

But then if you add say Arcane Archer after that, you'd need to take 3 levels of AA in a row, and could then go back to cherry picking from the three classes.

GKP's answer kinda covers it. "3 levels in any new class".

Sure I was just providing a specific example.
