Feylock BG?

Post by BegoneThoth » Thu Nov 16, 2017 5:22 pm

Thinking about either a con version, or cha version, this is the con version.

cha version

Really want divine shield and warlock, that's sort of the core of the idea. Sit with very high AC and spam mind fog and confusion and slow.

I'm back and forth on the two ideas.

I'd probably go the charisma route, since that benefits both offense and defense.

Keep in mind that once you hit 38 charisma you'll start hitting the dodge AC cap (14 divine shield + 4 haste + 1 boots + 1 mage armor), so you could maybe put some more points into con for a larger HP pool, though I suppose you could go all in on cha if you really wanted to eke out every last point of DC.

Alternately, drop some Great Cha feats for GSF Transmutation, which both helps your Slow DC and gets you -teleport.

I've seen a cha-based warlock/bg at work and it wasn't bad.
Intelligence is too important

I don't think its in any way a top build but it won't be bad.

Additionally the cha version can get esf bluff and just become almost immune to banishment with an absurd bluff score.

Not to mention 10+ minutes of divine shield.

Yeah, it's not bad. I tried this before the Feylock rework, and could solo virtually anything easily. It loses less by comparison to the CON build nowadays.

Apparently Feylock is buggy?

What kinds of problems are there exactly, before I make one and spend hours/days on the class.
