If you want, sure. The Dex gift is more a QoL thing, so that you don't have to use so many Grace pots/wand charges to get to the +8 mod.

I would keep the crafting gift, though, since it gives you enough CP to get to 44 tailoring and 27 carpentry. That allows you to make the armor of immolation and the staff of life yourself, rather than hunting for them in stores.

Personally I've never found the slight XP loss from higher ECL to be terribly painful.

Me neither. Ok, saw somewhere that feylocks are easily countered now? What changed?

They lost mass haste/Improved invis and their hold spells no longer do full blast damage. They also got DI instead of DR. None of these things make feylocks bad, they're just slightly less overpowering.

If feylocks are "easy to counter" now, nobody has told me.
