that seems like a bug. Any chance that can be fixed to make the purchasable versions mundane ?

That's been a problem for a while, for many (possibly all?) mundane items. It's known, but I imagine that it's enough of a pain to fix that nobody has gotten around to it yet.
There's an ongoing list somewhere in the bug forum of items that should be mundane, but which are spawning/being sold without a mundane tag.
