Cleric banite build

Heya folks,

Recently I have been feeling like I am missing the banite rp. Now I am looking for a good human cleric build. The main thing is I want to have some feeling to the dark nature using necromancy. It does not have to be a powerbuild but not a subpar build eighteen. Focused on banes chosen weapon a morning star. If off course that is viable for a build.

I'd do Con/Wis gifts, myself.
As for domains, you want travel and either plant or trickery.

Start with 14-16 Con, not 12. Your finishing (lvl 30) stats should be 20 wis and the rest into strength. Prioritize wisdom so you can get those level 9 spells. All gear goes into str and con. Focusing in conjuration instead of evo is generally recommended these days. Most people build for fort, so implosion on a battlecleric isn't that useful, whereas SoV is great for crowd control and locking up opponents, and gruinball doesn't do as much damage as it used to.

this was my Banites build.
ESF disc is not optional. I would suggest dropping evo entirely for either necro and mummy dust+No ESF hellball or Conj/EDK and no ESF Hellball.

Don't build with 12 con.

You build for 19 wisdom, not 20. 15 starting +wis gift and two during level up.
0 Bonus: Does not stay in character, rushes around from spawn to spawn killing things with little to no interaction.

You can certainly walk around with it out for show, but don't pick it over a Scimitar or rapier unless you are ok with hilariously gimping yourself.

Morningstar is the best weapon (arguably spear is but the animations are fugly ) to use until you get your fighter levels, then like Voidstone says it's best to use a scim/rapier. But you can use whatever, if you really really want to -- you aren't a WM.

If I was you and wanting to stay viable, just build a scimitar/rapier build, but use the morningstar during RP events.

Otherwise, screw it and build with the morningstar and hope you find an artefact with keen. #buildforrp

20 wis is better. You get more spells and DC and the extra point in strength will give you an uneven score with a full set of gear anyway. Although I concede that might be difficult with only two gifts; haven't built a cleric since the gift-nerf.

Yes it will do a nice feeling rping all the time with morning star and then in combat tugging up scimitar.

I wouldnt bother myself a lot with it you like morningstar, go for it. The worse crit range may do less dmg but if you are good enough in pvp it wont matter and in big battles it matters not. And pve is irrelevant.

Edit: armor skin can be taken as cleric bonus feat
