Medium armor build?

Trying to find a build to match an elven warrior concept I have, looking to make a melee character using scale armor/chain mail (5ac, 2dex) and long sword, anyone got any ideas? Never tried medium armors before, what would fit a scale or mail armor, some kind of bard build?

Go for 4/4 with pots. There's an "Elven Chain Mail" item that's not bad.

Yeah, I wanted to do the other due to the torso options but I would probably regret not just going for the better stats.

Fun fact. half plate has plenty more color designs because it's half-leather in it's torso but otherwise looks pretty much like the full plate designs - and you only lose 1 ac for a whole new world of fashionable armor designs no one ever used before (because everyone take the 1 ac and wear full plate).
