Defending against Dispels

Is there any way, short of counterspelling or being a much higher CL, to defeat an enemy dispel?

High CL and Arcane Defense Abjuration is the only way.

1) smart usage of summons
2) UMD + scroll of mantle (any)

Spell mantle doesn't stop dispel, and I presumed he was talking about PvP, where people aren't going to dispel a summon instead of the caster.

Its not like anythink works agains Mords...they strips you to your underwear
