So, the basis is. You can craft enchanted equipment using your basic Crafting Skills and it is as follows..
A Tailer can craft a pair of boots for a DC of 1 and require 1 points to complete
Adding a Ability (+1 Strength ect..) will increase the DC by 20 and add an additional 100 points to the completion time
Adding a Stat (+1 Disc ext) will increase the DC by 2 and add an additional 20 points to complete the item
Adding a Save / AC Boost will increase the DC by 10 and add an additional 50 points to complete the item
So, a pair of Boots with a +1 STR, +1 CON, +1 AC and +2 Disc. Which is already possibly to enchant would require a DC of 55 and would require 290 Points to complete.
A Belt with +1 STR, +1 CON, +2 Disc, +2 Heal, +2 Taunt, +2 Spellcraft or whatever combination, which is possible to enchant already would have a DC of 57 and would require 361 points to complete.
In addition to the normal materials used to create an item, enchantments could require set amount of Spell Componants. 10 per Ability, 1 per a stat and 5 per save. It means that the DCs would be huge, requiring dedicated craftsman to complete the work just like you require an Epic Enchanter now. The Completion time would be a lot longer than an Enchanter could and the costs incurred are as big too..
Or perhaps, rather than starting a new. It could be used by placing an item into your dedicated station. Then using the 'Improve Item' button. As well as costing Gold and Spell Componants, it would return your item as a 'Uncompleted Enchanted Item' and you would then need to work on it until it was completed. This would eliminate a few problems of "How do you enchant the list" you simply add it on each time and each time the DC is raised in accordance to what enchantments are already on the items.
It's not a replacement, just an alternative.

Re: Craftable Enchanted Stuff
I'd rather we didn't do this, I feel it would just undermine the enchantment system.
