Crafting : Proceed with all productions *click here*
With all the new crafting updates, I thought perhaps while you were in there and comfortable with everything it would be a good time to suggest an option while making goods to proceed with all crafts that are within the crafting device, so that you can finish a large pile of say ingots, bottles, etc. In a more streamlined/effective manner.
That's all, thanks for your time.

I'm honestly a bit against this idea. Craft by ID is nice because it skips the lag of sifting through all the menus. Having to craft a single one at a time I see as represenative of the character spending time creating the object.

Does that promote better roleplay, though? If the answer is no, then I don't think it's worth fighting for.Twily wrote:Having to craft a single one at a time I see as represenative of the character spending time creating the object.

A good question rambling. amount of time mechanically spent crafting in my opinion does not actually limit or promote roleplay. Those who actively rp crafting do so with emotes and the ability to open the menu and use a "complete all" will not limit the rp for those who rp.

When I am alone, and want to get rid of my crafting points I'D love to be able to jsut spend them all in once. The craft by ID already decreased the crafting time due to eliminating menu lags.
But when making a lot of small things, half of the menu paging is still there.
1. Select Craft by ID
2. Select proceed.
3. Select spend crafting points.
Repeat x 10

My only real question is I am not sure if this is workable in the code. whither it is or not, our awesome dev team will take a look and decide. Keep up the amazing work!

I don't know.much about the coding but surely there is a way to hook it so that once a n item is finished it starts on the next incomplete crafting item.
