The ability to some how change the element a given spell produces. E.G. use a wand or ability and Mestils acid sheath is cast as Mestils Sonic Sheath. Could be a number of ways to implement this.
As it requires an action wouldn’t be totally abusable in combat but would add some cool flexibility and flavor. Also from an rp standpoint, it seems strange a lvl30 godlike mage can stop time, turn into a dragon, cast in a range of ways with meta magic but can’t play with the elements within the framework of existing spells.
Seen it done with wands before and it was lots of fun!

Re: Elemental meta magic
Yeah its possible and sounds a lot like the Archmage PRC which can alter elements of their spells. No problem to code this in but rather a lack of VFX to make it look fancy. Say for Mestils Acid Sheath for instance, if you make it to Mestils Sonic Sheath we wouldn't wanna use that green VFX shield but instead a new VFX that fits the sonic damage type.

Rejected until we get our hands on new VFX to pull this through.
