An impressive timeline, well done.

But... (You knew a but was coming didn't you?)

A couple of corrections are required.

Firstly Myon was originally built in Minimir (the area where the house is, leading to the lake) and then relocated to the forest after a number of years.

Secondly, Darius Tristram did not found Kholingen. He may have took over the running of its militia but he didn't found the city.

Third, by the time Kohlingen had vanished, Galahad had long since been gone and Tristram was not welcomed back into Light Keep (Benwick was immediately named Light Keep upon Xyndral assuming sole leadership), where Xyndral ruled alone at that time. He was more of a drifter, centred around Cordor if anywhere.

Lastly Berichance Arnesen did link up with the Baltaks, but only long after they'd been exiled from Light Keep and it didn't last long as the Baltaks soon left Arelith altogether.

Hope this helps!

 Of Course I knew! The merit is not mine anyway, I am... let's say... the "Notary of the Sages"... meaning as sages all the fellows whose memory brought all this as they are credited in the heading of the thread. To all them (including you) kudos...

Also, as this is a draft, still in a big need of polish and rework, like...

Correct typos

Re-edit the grammar

Make better short explanations so an entry could be self-explanatory...

And also, fix wrong things as you are pointing it! (and btw, fixing everything according your comments, thx!)

I didn't updated yet the Timeline with your apointed notes about Benwick and Kohlingen... But now I see you are giving more and new info about! I shall add that and soon correct the Timelline regarding the Keep of Light...

But I find some issues...

You say Darius returned after Galahad decease... but the resources I got first stats the fall of kohlingen on 1 AR, while Galahad died somewhat 10-1? AR... What is wrong? Then when died Galahad yet? The dates are not matching.

Check this about the Benwick timeline...

About Minmir, I knew that was the first elven city to be settled, while Myon was already in Arelith, hiden (meaning that maybe was not yet included in the module), but in historic meanings. Then, before Minmir fell under the betrayal of that human, now spectre, some elves discovered Myon and with tha fall itself, myon was used as the new Elven haven.

I will check and fix aswell what you comment, I could be missing something about, but this timeline is missing and lacking several information... sadly. (and double sad, I came to Arelith in 96 or 97 AR lol... all what I know is coming through the IG books, IG lore, EA and this!)... the support all you are giving to this is the main and almost unique reason why this timeline is here.

I see your point with Myon (as in being there, but not included in the module at that time). However, I am not sure if that was the intended case or if the Devs simply transferred Minimir to the Forests and so that Myon was in Minimir and then the forest.

Artos or Jj would know the rationale behind this no doubt.

As for Galahad, Darius and Kohlingen.

Galahad, Darius & Kohlingen were around before I joined, but I can categorically state that when I joined the server, in November 2004 (10 years to this month!) Galahad was gone from the server, Darius was NOT at Benwick (Xyndral was in sole charge) and Kohlingen was still in existence.

So whatever date Galahad died, he could not have welcomed Darius back to Benwick from a fallen Kohlingen, because it was still up and running.

I think Kohlingen was around until late 2005 before it went under and I don't recall Darius returning to Light Keep at that time. He DID come to Light Keep later on and, with Lady Anna, try to re-establish himself (2007-2008?), but there was bitterness between Xyndral and Lady Anna and thus Darius never really got back into Light Keep.

In later years, I took a break around the time of Lexi leaving and when I returned it was Rowan Willows and Godfrey Willows in charge, along with Luna Strata.

When the Willow's left Light Keep, my time there also ended (though in practice I was on less and less) and thus events after that are mostly unknown to me.

The Elven theme is from what I learnt from IG books, compared and confirmed in EA and some other chronologies or apointments. So this requires confirmation from elder DMs / Admins.

About Benwick I will fix the entries according your notes.

Noticed are still huge gaps missing.....Morghun was the first ruler of Stonehold, then after that Dra'Klaw Emberblaze(A tiamatian red half-dragon). Then another red half-Dragon named Maya (during this period it was a stronghold for Baator.

Nerissa Mange and Daller Mange as well Zedeln were all part of a thieve's group called the silent hand, they were all active members of what was called the Waukeen guard. The Waukeen guard became Cordor's official guard. The Zhentarim then came to the isle helped Zedeln, Daller and Nerissa take over Stonehold with the secret support of the Silent hand as well. This is when Stonehold became a stronghold of Bane. I do not know the timelines for these other than it happened.

Silent hand was around -before- Ryan was second Dreadmaster or Daller Mange first Dreadmaster.

Drake Shadowbane Ulrich Manes and Luthian Noquar were the leaders of the guild and at one point they were either city senators or council members.

DM Iron might be able to provide dates for this info.

I just know these facts are missing as when I first joined the server my first character was a kolbold and Dra'klaw was the current leader of Stonehold, and I joined the silent hand, Ulrich Manes, Drake Shadowbane and Deb'reth Mel'for were in charge. And Zanishbon was still a inhabbitable settlement/city.

87 AR [POL] The new Bramble Watch outpost is built.
This seems considerably off. The outpost where it stands was already there when Kregor arrived in 87 AR, and had been there for many years.

It was sometime in the mid AR70's, under Jan Korab, that the hilltop was first settled in with fixtures. There are documents still on Bothor Gentlebreeze's historical note board down in the Bramble Watch shelter that detail the events such as the founding of the Bramble Watch, the declaration of the Bramble's independence from under Heartwood's authority was also around that time. I'll solidify the dates when I can get down there to browse the notes.

Another politics event - the signing of the treaty between Cordor and the Bramble Watch, granting the hills to the faction, and giving the faction stewardship over all the undeveloped lands of Pax Cordoria, happened in AR94.

The new outpost, as built out by Artos, was completed in AR98.

Also, the three-event RP to cleanse the Bramble of the haunting brought about during the Cordor plague of RL Halloween 2013, was completed in AR97

hey, i noticed some inconsistencies and have a couple noteworthy additions:

 I believe the guard was first founded by Aristotolus(though i wasn't there, so i could be wrong)

 2nd Stonehold was established well before Aristotlus' death

 13ish ar, Thailand Archon and friends(Sons of Arelith?) burn down the Social Club in Cordor to hurt the Silent Hand

 Aristotolus died towards the end of the 2nd Sharran War with Keth, when Keth hatched a plot to kidnap his children, and Aris went to save them, but never returned (however there were sparse sightings of him ages after the war, as if his spirit still wandered)

 Knights of the Road were created around the same time as the Jewel's Heart, 14-15ar (actually, according to Dafayyd Silvertongue, the order was first created years before by Lightkeep members under Xyndral, but i think they grew apart at some point. In year 14-15, Dafayyd was actually re-founding them)

 16-17ish ar, Kedrin Falk insprires riots in Cordor over public execution of beloved local halforc and former councilor(senator?) Erok

 17ar, Cameo & Zeer are exiled & start the 3rd Sharran War. Reginali panics and Trynn'delynn Eldafire(shameless plug) takes over defense in absence of any other barons. In the confusion, Galverson is kidnapped and kept in captivity for nearly two years before he is murdered during a failed rescue attempt. Trynn instituted martial law after the abduction which lasted for about a year. Baronial age continued for a few years after Galverson was killed.

 20ish ar, The Cordor guard was reformed under Graash Zorgar the year before Vetinari arrived

 Arrival of Vetinari was closer to 21-22ar, same time as council was created. It was rumored he was coming even a year before he arrived, and even the Elite Guard was afraid of him. First thing Vetinari did was evict the barons. Other things happened at the same time Vetinari arrived, change of the gypsy camp to the permanent Rosewind, otherwise peaceful kobolds, goblins, deurgar, and svirfinblin were no longer allowed in Cordor, foundation of Urblexis Grond, the Social Club in Cordor was refurbished and reopened. After ending the barons rule, he stopped all fighting on the isle by showing all the major settlements that he held the deeds to their land and if they didn't behave, he would evict them.

 I could be wrong, but I think Lothar Steelsworn didn't show up until after Baronial Age was over(after 20ar) but before the Bloodsails. With Lothar's rise to power was an alliance of Stonehold with the Zhentarim. After he fell from power, the alliance was dropped.

 I believe the speedy messenger message service wasn't implemented until the 60s, but I could be wrong, my memory of that time is a bit vague.

 I think you mean Guildorand in reference to the recorded mayorship changes in
the 100s

EDIT: one other thing, I've been going with saying 0ar was 1372 in the dale reckoning. Does that fit? or would it have been earlier? It's good to know this because it gives us context of how long ago major things like the Time of Troubles happened.

Were a few incarnations of cordor guard, such was the regular cordor guard under senator Tifa, then after her there was the Wuakeen guard which was created by the silent hand, but still was the official local guard of cordor both of which were infact before Aris.

 2nd Stonehold was established well before Aristotlus' death

Silent hand existed and came to the isle during Dra'klaw Emberlaze's reign, which is looong befor Daller or Ryan Valtherean's reign over Stonehold, I know this as the SIlent hand was the first faction I played on the server, Stonehold was second and that was while Dra'klaw was ruler of Stonehold.

I know for a fact Bane was dead when I joined arelith, and his resurection happened about same time Daller Mange became Dreadmaster.

DM's made a big deal of this event following with current FR lore at the time. As Arelith took place 3.0 and followed all the way through to 3.5 lore. and I think 3.5 lore was being introduced during BR still. If that gives you a point of reference for what year in FR ir was when 0 AR took place.

If that gives you a point of reference for what year in FR ir was when 0 AR took place.
i'm mostly confused. are you agreeing that 2nd stonehold was before aris' death and that the sons of arelith burned down the social club to hurt the silent hand?

and i cant remember when bane was resurrected, but i may be able to research it and find out

To be honest I can't remember on when the social club was burnt down or the death of Aris happened. Simply was pointing out while on the topic of the silent hand that the info of when arrived the isle was false. They didn't arrive at same time as Ryan Valtherean, that they were around about as long as Dra'Klaw Emberblaze.

I would ask bashagain if info on aris is correct, as he was the one whom played Aris.

Solidifying the dates:

AR74 - [POL] The Bramble Watch forms under the Korab Clan, led by Jan "Nightingale" Korab as the Warden. An outpost is built, initially on the hilltop presently known as Howling Point, eventually relocated to the present hill that now houses their fortification.

AR79 - [POL] Bothor Gentlebreeze, then Warden of the Bramble Watch, formally declares the Bramble Forest independent of Heartwood oversight, and the Bramble Watch as a separate, sovereign entity.

AR91 - [EVE] The Cordor Plague erupts in Cordor and its surrounding lands, due to necromantic disturbances within the crypts of Cordor. The plagues were loosed by a guardian spirit of the tombs, demanding retribution for the necromancy. Approximately 3,000 Cordorian denizens, mostly commoners, died in the wake of the plagues, and the Bramble Forest is left haunted by the plague's victims.

AR94 - [POL] The Cordor/Bramble Wood Treaty is signed, granting land to the Bramble Watch and stewardship over the undeveloped land within Pax Cordoria. Warden Kregor Boldheart signed for the Bramble Watch, and Councilors Sellenia Astarith and Giogi Silveroak signed for Cordor. A copy of the treaty is here: viewtopic.php?p=428#p428

AR97 - [EVE] The Great Cleansing of the Bramble reveals that the events that caused the Cordor Plague of AR91, and perpetuated the continued haunting of the Bramble Forest, were due to the activities of a covert cell of Velsharoon that infiltrated and operated within Pax Cordoria. A joint effort between the Bramble Watch, the Cordor Guard, and numerous adventurers drove back Velsharite cells within the goblin fortress, the Cordor mines, and the very crypts from which the plague first erupted.

AR98 - [POL] The Bramble Watch completes fortification of their holdings on the hills of the Bramble Forest to better deploy out to various locations, and to fortify against the growth of goblins from their own fortress north of the forest.

Oh, and also...

AR93 - An invasion of Paush's forces strikes against Cordor. Councilor Leia Sunstrider, who participates in Cordor's defense, is permanently slain in a head to head confrontation.

(That's best I can remember it, CragOrion may recount it better than I.)

Annnd...

AR94-5 - The Ragged Red Banner forms on Arelith, joining together many goblinoid tribes across the isle under a figure only known as "The Prophet." Several battles ensue against every settlement across the island, and numerous adventurers reinforced the settlements' militia to put down advances. The Banner fell after the Prophet was found and slain by a company of adventurers led by the Wariors of Fate.

Hi.

I opened the specific TIMELINES for each settlement to better polish each event and success, so I will update them with the current info posted here, instead update the overall timeline.

Once those specific timelines were polished enough, I will merge all them into a generic Arelith Timeline.

Thanks for all your contributions in this recovering of all the Arelith History. Is awesome to track it! :)

The Aristotlus thing is a mistery...

The EA says he died in 12 AR... other resources pointed 15 Ar... Now you say he passed away after the foundation of the second Stonehold, dated on 18 AR...

We need confirmation on that from more players and if posible, acurated dates...

if "0 AR" is when arelith and Amia split into two:.......~20’s BR (Old Stonehold).- Maya succeed to Dra'Klaw as the third ruler of Stonehold.

15 ~ 10 BR (Stonehold – Benwick - Kohlingen).- Benwick fought against the evil forces of the Dragon Cult in Stonehold. During the war, a rift was created between the followers of the Queen Xyndral and the followers of the Duke Darius Tristam, culminating in the leaving of Darius and all his followers to Kohlingen.

~14 to 11 BR (Old Stonehold).- Daller Mange, the First Dreadmaster conquest Stonehold with the support of the Silent Hand, turning it as a powerbase for the Banites.

11 BR (Old Stonehold).- Ryan Valtheran becomes the second Dreadmaster, ruling on Stonehold.

All happened in AR if my memory serves me right, someone can correct me if I am wrong, but as memory serves me Dra'Klaw Emberblaze's player left Arelith when Arelith had the schism that birthed Amia

When talking about space, temperature etc, there is a zero in those magnitudes...
But when talking of time, there is no a zero second, nor a zero minute, hour, day... nor a zero year.
Zero, is the exactly instant when something happens, and even then, there is a computed time.

Technically, the first year of any new age, era, aeon, eve... is the year 1. (as the first one when you born) ;)

Thank you bro, I will check on what you say.

This is what I updated into the Chronology, comparing related and linked dates of other events and characters.

~20’s BR (Cordor).- The Silent Hand arrive to Arelith in close relation with the Church of Bane.

1 AR (Stonehold).- Among those swallowed into the dimensional vortex, was count Dra'Klaw Emberblaze, leaving Stonehold in an emptiness of power, situation used by Daller Mange who will claim the citadel for the Banites and proclaim himself as the First Dreadmaster.

~11 AR (Old Stonehold).- Ryan Valtheran deposes and exiles to Daller Mange, becoming the second Dreadmaster ruling on Stonehold.

Removed the other entries as were not relevant and also wrong on dates (Maya's banished, rift in the Benwick court removed)
