Path of Grief.

Path of Grief.

The plague. Yet, a horrific word associated with the true disaster of the mankind. The reaper of many cities and lands. The merciless slayer of the guilty and the innocent. Diseases are rarely viewed as anything but that. Only a few know that disease brings not only death but it balances the life by it's impact. In our world where many dark and nefarious things take it's place we often get accustomed to fight these forces. Or stand by their side and try to wreck mindless destruction and leave nothing but a desolated land behind. Only a few can truly accept the natural need of a disaster to erupt and to balance our world.
Talona. The Mother of All Plagues. Hated among the Faerun as well as her greatest rival Loviatar, the bringer of torment and horrific disease. Her name flows through the dark halls of evil cults and witch covens as a sign of respect and plea for her help in their unholy tasks. Yet, many forgot about her other aspect. Which leads some druids and other servants of the nature to seek embrace within rotting hands of the Unholy Mother. Each disease and parasite do still remain as a part of our world. Trying to completely erase it would bring nothing but harm to the balance on the global scale.
But our story shan't be only about that. It shall be also a tale of two girls. Who's fate wasn't choosen by them, yet carefully and obediently followed. Who's been granted with a curse of torment from their birth, yet it doesn't mean that their perception is twisted. But shall they find success on that path they deem right? Or the cruel blades of the reality shall shatter it into something else?
