Such is Karma

There was once a hermit monk who had a bronze coloured goblin pet.
It was found alone in the ruined goblin breeding grounds as an infant age after the hermit had wiped out the local goblinkind. Either the hermit took the creature in out of pity or just needed a servant to tend his home.

The hermit mostly spent time with himself to train his martial art, the Way of the Hin Fist, as the goblin was kept working with the household chores but soon noticed that the creature had started to copy and learn his movements while he practiced.

The hermit grew curious about the goblin so he started to train and teach it to humour himself. The creature evolved its skills quickly, either because it was a good learner or by the quick natural growth rate.

Unfortunately that sense of humour was later replaced by fear as the goblin's ambition started to be driven by the desire to become the strongest and its fierce potential was terrifying. The hermit stopped the training and forbid the use of Hin Fist from the creature with the threats of sealing its fists if caught using it. The hurt goblin refused as it had plans to use the martial art for the good of all the goblinkind against the injustice of paladins and anyone who dared to harm them.

The two fought, their punches and kicks hit against the each other until the hermit attempted to end his former pet's life quickly by hitting its pressure point. To his shock it did not work as his fingers got stuck into goblin's tough muscles. The goblin grinned with its ticking teeths at the hermit.

"Wont work, no. Reverse my heart and points are, yes. Studied and tried, yes. Lot of pain but worth it, yes. No pain, no gain, no. With pain you get wisdom, yes. Tonight I will make you very wise, yes! You're already dead, yes."

With the single touch of a finger, the goblin beat and blew up the hermit's body by the second after hitting his pressure point. The grudge had been paid and soon the favour as well as the goblin buried the messy remains of the hermit out of gratidute for raising it and training the Hin Fist after his demise.

Such is Karma.
