Poem - The elven lady of my dreams

Post by Artenides » Tue Oct 23, 2018 9:59 am

(The poem is in Elven)

The elven lady of my dreams

It is no secret that I blush every time I hear your name,
No matter what I do, the reaction is always the same.
That angelic voice, that beautiful smile,
When around you, I am lost in space and time.

My heart beats faster and I forget about my scrolls,
For you I would fight a thousand orcs and trolls.
I wish you spent the rest of your life by my side,
To be each others happiness, pillar and pride.

I would tirelessly work to preserve that spark,
To make you laugh while walking in the park,
I would be there to wittness your every smile,
To make you the happiest person on this isle.

And if you're sad or you feel that you lost your way,
Just sit next to me and tell me about your day.
I will hold your hand gently and ease the pain,
Together we will find the sun through the rain.

+100 poetry points!
Path_of_Play wrote:Fear, intimidation, anger - All these, the tyrant's tools.
Laughter, encouragement, play - not simply just for fools.
These tools reveal,
More is learned,
From another in an hour of play,
Than in a year of contention.
