Hello, fellow Arelithians! I'd like to share with you a project we have been working on that has just gone live after over ten years of development. It is a new Core System, as well as the blueprint for a company that will publish adventure modules, each belonging to a different genre and with unique settings.

The highlights are story making tools, a flexible core system that allows you to play virtually any concept in any setting, including homebrew and the worlds of games, novels, serie, movies, instantly and without a need for bulky conversions. The core system is tailored for a highly collaborative, creatively free and plot-heavy style and may be adapted to nearly all roleplay platforms in existence, both tabletop and online.

The official Kickstarter will open in two months, and artwork, extras and concept material may be previewed on Patreon.

I love Film Noir. My cinematography final last fall I got to do a film noir short, and in doing my look-book, I came across this image which must be exactly what the above "speed sketch" is using as reference:

Correct! It was the perfect image for a quick "how it's done" sketch, since it is mostly light and darkness. If you like cinematography, noir and roleplay this should be right up your alley.

Not to give away too much, but if you will poke around the free adventure (http://bit.ly/blackwind-free-module-arena) and the articles (https://blackwindrpg.wordpress.com/2018 ... idsection/) you will find some terms and ideas you should be familiar with.

Manual chapters after the SETUP follow a theme. A little trivia is that we decided to do so depending on which "genre" we felt was typically stronger in each section.

For instance, the SETUP is Noir-themed...
