Another goodbye.

Hello, Daedin here.

I read this topic by Orion_666 viewtopic.php?f=19&t=23241 and it resonated with me in many ways, so much so that I figured I'd follow suit.

It has been two years since I have done anything of significance on Arelith. I have played a few characters within that time frame, but few made it past a couple of months. I simply no longer have the time or energy to do it and often, these days, do not quite feel like I belong either.

I have played here since 06 and that alone is hard to believe. But now I think it is time for a more permanent goodbye. We like to say "they always come back" but, in this instance, I am pretty sure that will be very far in the future, if ever.

There is so much that I could say, but I will keep it to the one truth I am certain of:

I love this place and everyone in it.

Keep the lights on.

I'll see you all later, somewhere.

I only had a few interactions with Borin, Maikan and Otilia, but I enjoyed all of the interactions. I wish we had had more chance to RP together as you're a fabulous RPer. However, memories will always remain.

Some how this has got to be one of the coolest, yet saddest goodbyes I've read. Nice one littleWeasel, nearly had the same effect on me as my national anthem. Military and all.

Anyways, spose everyone's gotta get at some point, just sometimes it's not expected or far sooner than some wish. Hats off to ya.

Our characters never interacted much, but when they did, it always had a strong effect (sometimes positive, sometimes negative) on my guy depending on the alt.

Nicodemus still goes to the Myon Grove specifically to check to make sure Borin’s painting is still there, in its place.
