Saslae Xun'viir
For giving me an excellent welcome and for an intriguing insight into the politics of Andunor.
Much appreciated and the server is better for your presence.

Kudos to Saslae for many, many hours of amazing RP and great fun - and for motivating me to play Xalyth even after all those months! :)
Keep it up, you’re doing great!

"Da main man" Karstaag's favourite drow. Love our encounters and RP they provide.

Saslae is one of my favorite drows out there. The fact that she is the way she is makes being a butler that serves drow all the more satisfying.

Re: Saslae Xun'viir
Hey. Kudos to you guys!!
Most of the time? I just try to make Saslae the background to other people's RP: She stands around, and she listens to what other people want or have to say or are talking about; prods a little. I get a good feeling as to what people want, or desire from their RP that way... then a lot of times? Behind the scenes..
I try to slide things around so people can get what they want. Andunor, my RP, and by extension... Arelith is what it is... because of people like House Xvil'kor, Dwarf-Smashers, Kaarstag, Sencliff's pirates, Jhaamdath, Brogenstien, Xalyth, Harrow, The Church of Cyric, Midnight Mouser, The Horde and so many unrecognized people doing what they do every day -- including those individuals who keep their character's out of the public spotlight... and I love all of you.
A lot of times? People will just see me walking through en route to try to provide for a situation earlier in the day ... whether trying to check inflated adamantine prices, get gold to help an allied faction's unexpected losses, or put sign boards up, or trying to find people to manage things or handle storylines that I don't know how to assist.
My whole shtick is trying to make it easier for everything that you guys do every day, so you can spend more time just RPing with people who share your interests, and less time working, or looking for the people you need.
It helps RP-wise that it can be exceedingly profitable to do so for Saslae too. ;-P (Look at Brogenstien's profit margins. >_<)
I love you guys. <3
Edit:
This isn't to say I think that Arelith needs more of it's unintuitive or confusing things changed or removed. The more time I spend working with Arelith's more difficult to grasp systems ... the more I appreciate the mechanics skill-cap of the server... there's a fine balance between work, and play... and having work to do ... often makes it so that the time we spend screwing off is more meaningful, and I like to think ... makes our character's lives more complete when we have to choose between necessity and personal goal fulfillment.
Necessity... is what brings everyone to the negotiating table, and that's something I love about this server.

Just deleting my kudos because I was unaware of the players behavior at the time.

Re: Saslae Xun'viir
I have had two instances of meeting Saslae, most recently on my young elf Qo'don (who still whispers her name out of fear even a number of years later), and she has been brilliant.
To the point that I hope she is still about when I make a drow so that I can learn how to play one properly even if only through sheer mimicry!
I can think of about four to five drow I have met that have completely stood out in my mind as outstanding examples of something that lives up to the hype of what a drow should be from the lore and what a drow can be due to limitations on the server and yet somehow manage to merge the two into something scary and fear inducing, even if the actions are not extraordinarily overt. Saslae definitely is in that group.

Not having played with Saslae much, but knowing her character has had impacts on mine and my RP without having even met? Thats a good character.
Now where is the Drow called Guacamole?

Re: Saslae Xun'viir
Saslae (and Jhaamdath! and Vance!) are wonderful. Thank you so much for going out of your way to give Varsk something to do!

Saslae and House Xun'viir are probably why I haven't rolled my drow and gone off gallivanting for Cordor. Thanks for that. You deprived the sunlands of a paladin with a big damn hero complex. I had the concept written up and everything.
My Rp kinda like droppin' a betta in an otherwise serene fish-tank.
Current Concepts:
Jhaamdath Wenchslayer, Drow weaponmaster and pirate captain
Eruantien Chil Ryilnn Aelorothi Aleansha, War-mage and Diviner of Evermeet. .

I mean, if you're gonna be enslaved by someone, I'd definitely go with dominantdrowess because they are and have always been excellent, but still...Tarkus the dog wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 5:35 amI literally only play this game so that Saslae may some day enslave my guy.

Sassy <3. Although I haven't had many chances to rp with Saslae, each interaction I have had was top notch and stands out in my memories.
Oh the year was 1778...
Re: Saslae Xun'viir
overdue kudos, well done Saslae to be the main face of Andunor defense, its very enjoyable to see someone who gained so much authority by its RP and turning in what underdark should be-KUDOS!
Thanks for taking care of the lost duergar on its return too
