Kudos to DM Wish

Post by Aodh Lazuli » Mon Jul 24, 2017 11:55 am

Wish, I don't know if you just hold an unrelenting hatred towards people having UMD gear or something, but god damn, getting hit over and over by mords was frustrating to my bank balance...

That aside, you've been doing an absolutely awesome job of late. Every time I've come across one of your DM encounters or events, I know that it'll be a ton of fun. There's a certain tone to the stuff you've been doing which is really nice: A dry humour to your narration of actually pretty dark content - and that's something which I really appreciate. You allow players the room to actually play their character, providing the right mixture of "in your control" and "beyond your control". That's a very fine art.

Apologies for being a bit vacant when you dropped that most recent encounter on Ievos and Arion last night... It was about 4am by the time that concluded... But it was very much appreciated all the same.

Arion felt damned useful, and I'm beyond grateful for everything you do. Thank you!

Working down the list:
Aodh let's be honest with what we've learn - any character you play will never be safe. Be that danger by cursed holy sword, Devil horde or Demonic apocolypse!
Arion - those arrows really hurt. I mean /really/ hurt.

It was p great.

I'm absolutely amazed I even escaped that first solo run in the first place, I thought I was absolutely screwed when I couldn't get out of combat and I saw those Drow priestesses.

We live in dangerous (and expensive) times. DM Wish racks up UMD gadget investments to all time high. but it's ok.

Poor Misia. She can endure death with dignity, but the herd of bovine suicide bombers was a bit much.

Great (and unexpected) fun, all that.

Another crazy and amazing series of events. And Wild Magic madness during the whole thing.

Keep it up, Wish.

Hijacking this for another event: DM Wish, you rock. Single handedly the most fun I've ever had with a DM. That little event is something I'll remember for a long time.

All the DM Wish events are fun! Heal heal heal heal, for days and days! Brutal enemies, good thing we have brutal allies!

It did not look like it was going to end well for Yeto though when 20 enemies spawned around him and he was stuck in the middle. Thank you Elriel for saving him!

Laughter, encouragement, play - not simply just for fools.
