Entropy Dragon Send off Kudos

Gotta be honest, that was probably the most badass way to get a send off for any character. A pretty sick end even if it leaves me feeling a little empty with no solid followup/conclusion.

SHOUT OUT to my main boys for helping out

Hoarace, the one man wrecking machine
Jacob Swift, the light show
Buppi, PANTHERS
THAT GROUP OF CUTE NEW LOWBIES WHO I ALWAYS SEE KERYWIN GREY TIDE AND CO??? I LOVE YOU
Jaintria-bat-elf, fire solves everything
That one lowbie I pulled off the ship immediately and tagged along for the adventure
War Lord Innogen
Castor for making things die
Jadoth, floor elf
LUTH, the knight who refuses to be scared away from the Clover

Finally. Shout out to Poe and Ava. I gush way too much but I adore Poe-Player's writing so much. And we love that you guys trashed your old guild hall, it made investigating through it feel very real and kind of spooky. Sad to see you go before I got to bring out the big boy terror-campaign. Your send off created even more RP, and will undoubtedly effect Cordor for a while. Now we get to shake our fists at the mainland and never tolerate another pale master in the city again

I know there were a ton of you guys but I super don't remember all the names. It was great! The organization at the end was awesome and on point and it's always really endearing to see players and characters reach out and work together.

Thanks for the fun!

So close...

Thank you! Our little band of misfits loves running into you and yours, as well!

That was an AWESOME event. It felt like it had such a grand scale, and I loved the little rabbit trails of investigation we could go down. Props to Poe and Ava for creating such RP for an entire city!

BEHOLD!

The results of 1 Million Gold in resources, an IG year of research, 5 months of hard work IRL, and the accumulation of several reasons for the project in the first place ...

Turned On You.

It is with much sadness that Poe has been retired. After years of banging my head on the wall trying to build RP for others on Poe it was time for him to leave once and for all. While I fully understand peoples reasons for pushing him away IC, I disapproved of their methods as players. While I was repeatedly thanked or given kudos for inspiring "Antagonist RP" that was never my intent, and I felt that instead of interacting with the situation I was just pushed away OOC as well.

SO! Instead of summoning the elemental in Minmir where I had originally planned, I decided to put all that hard work to use. Honestly, Poe really was a good(ish) guy so he really wouldn't have done that. I chose to bend his RP for the DMs & Devs who helped me prepare it all. They deserved to enjoy the event even if I don't get to.

I mention these things not to complain or make anyone feel bad, but so that people know why it happened and hopefully can learn from it.

While this event wasn't planned to be like this, I certainly do hope that it goes a long way and persists to provide a nice little consortium of issues for Cordor to become active again. Go forth DMs, Devs, and Admins!!!

There is no shortage of ill-effects that could be the result of the Elemental's Summoning. If you want suggestions or ammo to have some fun for yourselves, I am always happy to indulge in the privilege of providing my knowledge on Necromancy / Negative Energy to anyone who needs it, especially our DMs who work so hard to spice things up for us.

I'm glad to hear that players enjoyed the summoning, the fight, the effects, and even investigating it afterwards. Bear in mind that this was done on the fly because of a location swap last minute. I will endeavor to provide a greater experience in the future for you all. So if you enjoyed this then as my last parting note, especially to the DMs, I'd like you all to know ...

...I'm not done yet...

I really loved the beginning of this event-line, and it has blossomed into something the DMs have decided to take on their own. That said;

Don't tell people to learn some lesson and speak poorly on people who are giving small kudos for the roleplay, when your character can not even have consequences given to him for said actions. There is no lesson to learn, people played their characters as they did.

I know that I feel educated. Thank you for using your dreadful trauma for such benevolent purposes. You are a better person than I.

Stand up, everyone, and look at how this misrepresented man has suffered, but Christ-like, turned his suffering to show us a better way.

+1. Also protip: attacking other players for what you perceive as OOC slights and then fully admitting to doing the same isn't a good look. Also what Miaou said. I'd say also what Kuma said but I didn't get any XP or loot so he's a jerk. Screw him. (<3 Kuma)

However kudos to the approximately nine million people who got involved without it devolving into a chaotic mess. Buppi and Jacob's crew (most of them) and The Bone Gang (Storm, Syrian, and Indori). Both Cordor and the Crags will sleep better for a couple of days. XD

I didn't know the character much. Other then his style of magic which both my characters strongly opposed. I think it's fair to say he encountered resistance because of what past he had, and naturally his choice of magic.

Regardless, As an Rper Poe / Ava got the greatest send off anyone could ask for. Through your characters actions, i'd say close to 30+ if not more characters were directly impacted. The RP consequences will last for months.

What greater send off could there be then to impact the server so heavily? Sure when people say Poe they'll spit his name out with anger. But luckily Poe is a fictional character not you as a person or writer. You made IG emotions. That's what rp is sposed to do.

No sweat Boney Mist, at least one dude on the internet learned something- or rather, was reminded of something: the golden rule of improv is golden for reasons!

In the final days of Poe, I didn't see many people say to him "Okay, but only if..." or "Fine, but if you do that, I'll...", which open more storytelling channels than does a flat, resounding "No, you can't".

I wasn't a part of your storyline, but I saw the end, full of no-you-cants and that's-wrong-of-yous, and maybe it was all somehow justified by events I had not seen or been a part of... but it sure didn't look fun, or like you were being met with efforts to carry your story forward.

Kudos for you for trying to deliver a meaningful ending through the noise.
