There's been quite the debate over the ownership of Wharftown, but it's clear now. Chrissie Miller is the new Mayor. She's made it clear via the Cordor public message board that she will not tolerate assault on "Cordor Scum" or "open border to darkness". Not out of the kindness of her heart but for one reason only. The Peddler. Never has something ever sounded so silly or stupid, yet so true. When you look at it, the Peddler deters a lot of assault because no one wants to kill that, and I quote "Gift from Waukeen." - Chrissie Miller, 2017. I almost feel like killing that blessed man would mean the collapse of the Arelith economy.
At least until someone raises him.
