A goodbye Kudos

Post by Dragonovith » Fri Feb 16, 2018 4:16 pm

I rolled Peter Black a few days ago. He didn't die or went out doing anything amazing, he just left, because reasons, and bought a bankrupt mercenary company in Arabel, his home town in Cormyr, with the fortune he amassed in Arelith. While he gets involved in a lot trouble in the mainland, besides tracking a certain individual who he regrets immensely having abandoned in the past, I'd like to give a kudos to everyone who has been part of his story, both friends and enemies. I have a few kudos threads lying around this forum, so I'll name only a few: Ezra Murann and Vance Gravelle, for being fun enemies to fight against, Sydney Harrow for an unexpected life lesson, Tornius Daressin whose head Peter once whacked against the floor of the Banite Church during a surgery (don't ask), Aowyn Dha Csim'agus for having endured Peter for sooo long heh, Cayd Davis for being Peter's mentor (even though Cayd thinks he failed miserably), Gorudan Vintergard for having converted Peter to Helm (Peter would totally support what Gorudan is "doing", it is something Peter couldn't do and Gorudan knows why) and Theoros Petrides, who Peter still considered a friend despite everything that happened.

I could stay here all day mentioning how each character influenced Peter in some way, but I'm a slacker at heart and I'll end it here. It's really a lot of people, you know, but you are all awesome.

I regret not interacting with Peter Black while he was around, but I always noticed him out of the corner of my eye, going around, doing interesting things.

I'll look forward to whatever comes next!

Well, Peter will be greatly missed, both IC and OOC by myself and a great deal of others I'm sure.
He's one of the characters that has helped developed Gorudan to what he is today.
So thanks alot =)

Only had a couple of interactions and each of them were memorable. I would say that is a hallmark of a good character, I was genuinely sad when he wandered off to start a new life. I hope whatever comes next you will be able to enjoy it at least as much and for as long as you did Peter.

Well, though another character of mine saw him around a certain dark locale, it was Thistlewit who got to know him a little bit when he taught her and some others a bit of the Under tongue. When she heard he was gone, she was so terribly unhappy. Wish I could have know your character so much more, and I hope you will always stick with imagining things of a fantastic existence.

Thanks for the fun with Peter, dude.

Tornius considered Peter a great friend, despite breaking his face in several places.

It's been fun dude! Peter was really the only person Tornius ever felt challenged by - that is an impressive feat!

I'm a sad panda about this. Peter was so interesting and I will selfishly miss getting to interact with him more. Hopefully my character will get to interact with your next idea come to life on Arelith!

It is sa shame to see Peter go , and I admit Lacroix had a harder time trusting his conversion than perhaps might've been warranted.

Definitely look forward to seeing what comes next!

Aw, never got the chance to get to know converted-Peter as much as I would've liked to.

I was quite amazed that he put up with Jad's silly nicknames.

Farewell, Triple B/PB/Peebles!

A truly memorable character, I'm glad I had a chance to play with you during Suspiria's short and intense existence.
Beside being the only supportive member of the church of Bane, Peter was an incredibly deep characther to peel off, layer after layer.

Looking forward to the next incarnation!

Horag was rude to Peter like he is to all humans he does not know well in Andunor. But Peter somewhat earned Horags respect...

I was impressed by your IG reactions to Horags behavior. Nice rp!

And an other thing was when you did run from party when there was PvP ahead... RPing fear for once life is something I highly respect ;)

Have fun with your next character! Make a ... :)

Peebles? That's new, and that one would've caused some PvP.

Actually, he avoided the PvP because he didn't want to create any more trouble between the Church and Brog', and the relations between the two were already too stressed at the time. It was that, totes...
