The glacial caverns in the UD seem to be pitch black for me, I can't see a damn thing inside except for the mobs and an item or two.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any way to solve it?

Right.
Then you need to disable Catalyst AI for NWN or entirely.
I'm not all too sure what the thing does, but it does not work well with NWN.
It can remove any texture with even a small normal map from appearing.
I know someone who played NWN, and was wondering why everything was pitch black.
Hence I know the culprit is Catalyst AI.
