You might be mistaking bards being unable to select Kensai as a path, as not being able to take any Bard levels as kensai.

My gnome Vim had an atrocious character sheet. 11 true flame sorcerer, 3 barbarian, 4 fighter. Exotic weapon proficiency. Had 15 charisma and could only cast higher level spells due to having charisma boosting equipment. 8 wisdom. Everything went into strength and constitution. He had 10 INT and therefore no skills.

One of the most fun characters I have ever played.

Here's one;

True flame Sorcerer/wizard/Cleric. Each level being taken in that order periodically. Humility gift. STR as a main stat.

You cannot take caster levels if you have selected the kensai path. If you do, a message pops up saying that that class is not allowed for kensais, and you are asked to choose another.

Source: tried it once, hoping I could make my kensai suck a bit less.

Even with 10 INT at lvl 30, a Wiz can do GREAT and fun things.

With scrolls and wands purchased from others? Because a 10-INT wizard can't cast any wizard spells. It would basically be a commoner.

Nope... well it could use wans and scrolls, but I didn't take items into consideration when writting that.
A 10 INT mage is far from being a commoner with the game mechanics in place.

What about a pure PC thief? I mean like

Dex: Max
Con: 8 or 10
Int: 8 or 10
Wis: 8 or 10
Cha: 8 or 10

Class:
Anything that lets you max out pickpocket, open lock, and anything else needed to rob PC's.

Feats:
Skill focus + Epic skill focus in those abilities.
Any feats that could improve those skills (including greater dex)

Focus is entirely on robbing PC's no matter what the cost.


There is also one of the first characters I ever made in NWN which was a Sorcerer with min Cha (because I didn't realizie they used Cha)

You can start the mage as INT 12...

and IG, during the leveling and creation, give him the humble gift= lowering your INT to 10 (and all the other abilities broken too)

Doable... and my favourite worst build btw... laughable indeed.

- A max of 1 inventory page.
- A max of 10K in the bank.
- Weight of own equipment, kits, etc. max 50.

Feats imp unarmed strike, skills maxed out craft armor and craft weapon, future feats any skill related feats and weap focuses un armed strike and max out lvl in barbarian. and continue stat dump into WIS. Alignment CE so he can be targeted by Smite Evil

I don't see what you can do with a 10 INT wizard that you can't do with a character that has UMD. Apart from have a level 1 familiar I suppose, but that doesn't require any leveling at all on Arelith. Familiars could definitely have some trolling potential I suppose.

All ESFs and epic spells are out since they require the ability to cast level 9 spells.

Huh! Very interesting. The Epic Spell feats say that they require the ability to cast level 9 spells just like the ESFs do. I guess those just check whether or not you have the right levels to cast level 9 spells in some class instead of checking to see whether or not you can actually cast them.

You can start with even 8 INT in another class and then take Wizard. I assume they were talking about a pure classed character, but I'm just throwing this out there still.
