Doubt I'll be in game much in the near future.

Not ruling out a change of heart, but I'm just not feeling it now given the direction Arelith has taken. I can't in good conscience support the server now.

I'm taking a break from Axe. The Changes to the server are scary, and i'm skeptical about the future changes.

I'm just taking a short week or so to move into my new place and get settled into the new job, expect a lot more events once IRL things calm down!

Keseah will be put on ice for the time being.

These new updates are making me question the direction in which the server is headed, and I won't be spending my precious time investing in something that may or may not come crashing down in a few weeks.

I will be on holiday for 2 weeks, running a 72 hours DnD campaign in a camp and then visiting the family. I have plenty of interesting stuff on my arelith to-do list, so going to continue working on those when I am back!

Yeah, I was on pause for now too, but after today, I just deleted Averitt. Gonna keep an eye on Arelith when it returns to some sense. See you in Ravenloft in the meanwhile

Currently going into a 5 straight night stretch at work, pushing 12 hour shifts each day.

Rebuilds will be slower than normal, but I'll try to get some in on my 2 hours each day that I have before my next shift after waking up.

In the mean time, please follow up with me if you have questions about your rebuild. I'll get back to processing a lot more on Wednesday / Thursday next week when I have some days off.

Appologies to all that were RPing with Yip. A series of unfortunate events (PC dying, illness, etc) kept me away for the past couple of weeks - but I'm back now.

I’m away until Monday at 8 PM EST. Or thereabouts.

Going to continue being very busy in the following few months with work and winter time. Lots of work going at the hospital, with 13 hours shifts, so likely will only be around on weekends and maybe occasionally in the week (depending on how shifts line up) for awhile now as just been too tired to get on after work currently and don't see that changing!

I did a dumb and updated my laptop to an OS that is not compatible with nwn

I won't be able to do a reset of said laptop until friday because I need to reinstall Mojave and get keys and such for things.

Okakri and Reena will be ??? huddling in their respective homes until I figure this out.

In between holiday stuff, working on the art trade, and trying to finish up a bunch of projects by the end of the year, I'm probably not going to be idling around IG too much. If you want to RP let me know and I can hop in game!

I am going to be bouncing from the server for a while. I've had a great time on this server since my return to it. There are many, many players out there who do so much. They're good folks who think of a lot more than themselves and provide much entertainment and means to do fun.

Which is the focus of all; fun. I have not had fun for a while. Beyond the emotional drain of bizarre conspiracy theories that come out about me and large segments of the server (granted these are coming from a disgruntled group who probably need some self reflection of their own) - its just a bit much.

This is combined with the recent troubles everyone has faced; strange decisions, little reason or communication from staff, and the difficulties that come from that. I am fortunate in that I have largely not been affected by it but after offering feedback, volunteering my own time, and counseling other folk I don't really feel its worth it anymore to deal with those things.

I need time to consider if Arelith can be fun for me anymore and in my opinion - Arelith needs to change administratively before I can try again. Time will tell, one supposes.

It was great playing with lots of you. Some of you I've played with on other servers. I'll probably play with some of you again. Everyone should find fun and seek enjoyment where they like.

I played Arelith for near a decade, but never have I been so crestfallen with the direction Arelith has been taking this year, there has been too many double standards from design view points and administration.

Whatever I'm leaving behind, isn't the Arelith I used to play.

Good bye, it was fun.

The game has just become a chore and unfun for me, so I'm quitting. I've also deleted my Arelith discord because I'm that fed up.
