With the upcoming Skaljard Cup racing event, and the recent attention being paid to our ships on the Twitter Feed we are running a poll on what ship is your favourite PC vessel on Arelith (Due to poll limitations the Longship Hrafnagar is excluded)

Feel free to give your reasons, and ask any questions about the Skaljard Cup Event.

The Liberator was Sarina's old ship.
Maybe it's all in my head but that ship was quick as can be. So many stories, so much fun.

The Dreadnought. Back when Andunor still had hard mode UD prices, smuggling became an incredibly lucrative market for the newly emboldened outcasts. Though it wasn't strictly necessary to do so via ship, there's something delightful about parking our evil concrete raft and disguising into Cordor to buy thousands of +10 Healing Kits from Haulfest, as I check off peoples' orders in Excel.

I kind of miss that with all the recent QoL changes.

(although, with the new delivery quests as a testbed...)

Not surprised to see The Dreadnaught take an early lead. Artos did amazing work with that, and of course the UD shipyard that goes alongside it.

Of course the Skaljard Cup might turn out to be the last hurrah of the existing ship selection, because with HAKs underway there are sure to be big changes on the horizon...

Treadstone Locks is definitely one of the most interesting areas on the server!

Such a great idea. And a great way to get geographically seperated characters from all over to mingle.

Weary Troubadour, all the way. Love that little ship; amazing history to it and great ability to have a proper crew. Favourite quarter on the server, hands down; no matter ship.

Please don't add airships or spelljammers.

All ships! (except for the dreadnaught) The more ships take part the better this event will be.

The Spelljammer model is fantastic, but there is no place for it in the Arelith setting. The Airship might work, so I'm not ruling it out (but there are no firm plans for one either).

I wish ships were more accessible. Having some pirate only ones is great, maybe in turn the other ships on Arelith shouldn't be able to be owned by pirates?

I'm a sucker for smaller ships. The liberator is a lot of fun, and has a lot of character for a small boat.
The dreadnaught is obviously the best, and I'm super biased, of course.

That schooner on the far right looks good. As does the sloop third from the left. But the little cogs are charming on their own.

little ships would be nicer if you would not get stuck behind some oar of the dingy

To get the 12 hour clock version of a 24 hour clock time, if it is over 12 (noon) then just subtract 12 hours and make it pm. So 16:00 would be 16 = 4pm Eastern time.

Having the event the same weekend as the series finale of Game of thrones seems like bad timing... :D

Theres an easier way, you can just subtract two from a twenty-four hour clock and the last number is the time.18 -2 = 16 so 6 o clock, for example.

2400 (midnight)

24-2=22

So 2400 is now 2:00

Not sure about this formula.
