Ahoi again. I discover this amazing server 04.11.2018 and it was my best game experience in D&D gaming in PCgaming.

All the time i see players which cooperating with other, RP and other stuff.

But can i ask one question? how often characters after server restart appears in other places? Yesterday i get warped to some wierd place and can't get out. Befor restart i was in The Xvart Caves and wanna come back to my own room in the port viliage.

As for your question: stuff like that happens now and then for various reasons. There should a portal and some transitions to let you leave. If not I’d advice contacting DMs ingame

The most important thing you can do for your character after a server reset is to make sure you log back on to the same server as before. There are 3 servers, and you were most likely on Skal, which is the Distant Shores server.

So there are three servers as I'm sure you are well aware at this point. Each one corresponds to certain places. . . which you'll find out in game eventually.

If you happen to be in say: Cities & Planes (C&P), but you log on to the Surface server, theres a small chance that it will teleport you somewhere inside the Surface server even though the last time you were logged in you were in the C&P server. If I were to guess, thats what happened to you. If this happens, use the chat in the bottom left corner of your screen to change the settings from: "Talk" to "DM" and send a ping to the DMs to see if they can help you.

watch for when a dm logs in they announce themselves for questions or help needed as a server shout. then just msg the dm channel.

or you can log back out and try to go straight too the distant shores server and it might get you there yourself

a short msg like that will work sure, just make sure a dm has logged in to see it.

I would try to log directly back into distant shores and go from there. if you get the three portal entry screen your set just go to the distant shores portal and enter there

It will be almost impossible.

not impossible but you may have just got some good luck, surface just dumped so try to log out and go to distant shores again

You can also log into Distant Shores when your server resets (usually about ever RL day or so). Without a server to port you to, you'll stay on the '3 Portal' room and can transition to the Skal docks.

I'm not sure if you joined April 11, or Nov 4, but either way welcome! I really like Skal for low-mid level play. The lack of portals around the server makes that firepit rather homey. The main Isle tends to be rather mobile.

To avoid it happening in the future, make sure you always use the Distant Shores to log back in. This glitch often happens after a server reset when one server might be resetting and another is up - which is why it's important to wait patiently for a server to come back up and then log in when it's ready =)
