Hello everyone

By now, as most of you know, Mithreas and I have lived in Australia for nearly 3.5 years, and while I have been quiet and busy building our life here, I am starting to feel at home and comfortable where we are.

We finally have a big house again, big property, and a breather of time for fun and games. As we used to do, when we lived in the USA, we invited fellow online friends, and mainly fellow Arelithians for the odd Pool / BBQ party there (Jjjerm's Birthday Bash comes to mind).
We have always enjoyed that little tradition of ours and figured, we should not cease it, just because we changed continent.

So... Here goes:

Fellow Arelithians - You are cordially (and enthusiastically) invited to join us for food, drink, pool shenanigans on

Main party on January 12th starting at 2pm, ending whenever we are done , though people are welcome to come early, leave late, stay a while for a vacation, etc.
of course we have internet and electricity, for those who wish to continue to stay connected.

We have a 4 Bedroom House with 1 Queen / 1 Double bed / Extra Couch / 1 Queen Air Mattress / lots of extra bedding, plenty of tent space / shed space (and yes, even hay storage if someone insists on sleeping in the hay - though note, it's not half as pleasant as it sounds. The stuff is itchy!) - etc.

Are there any other players in Brisbane ?

Wider region of Brisbane, I know of at least 4 + me and Mithreas (as in, all within a 1 - 3 hours worth of driving radius around Brisbane)

I'm in Toowoomba

Toowoomba is just about 2 hours away

Though I am not in QLD, I will do all within my power to arrange travel. Whether it be an inexpensive flight, or a days drive from melbourne..

Us aussies are quite a rare bunch on Arelith.

This post brings back fond memories of the get togethers you guys threw in Knoxville. Crazy to think that was over 3 years ago.

I live near Logan so very high chance of being able to attend.

I'm in Sydney at the moment but I plan to do a bit of travelling up to the Gold Coast at some point, so I might be abld to come!

I really hate to do this, but we'll have to post pone this for a while RL is a bit too tightly packed with Stuff, to where preparation time is just too short for this all and with Mithreas most likely traveling before and after that weekend, I don't want to add even more stress on his plate.

Just joined the server after almost 10 years away from nwn, man I feel old...

No more BBQ then ?

Might still happen. Might even be increased chances for it, now that I am not an Admin anymore, given that people should be less intimidated by me now (not that they ever should have been intimidated in first place.)

I might combine it with a party when I finally have my PR in hand

Just saw the update now and glad I came back to Arelith at this point. Also finally moved back down to a closer area so I should be able to make this now!
