I realize that this is probably hard to visualize the dynamic of so I drew a picture of it. A++++ party composition, would entrust tablets of fate with.

Old school WM Sorc, Abj (and necro) focus with infinite counter spell + Barb (I am a terrible person, I know. It is still the duo I had the most fun on exploring the server.)

Or if I must

(Guarded) Rogue + Cleric or Bard

Con druids are nice to have around. So are bards, fiendlocks, healers, and wild mages.

Cleric Archer, Rogue Archer, Monk Archer and an Arcane Archer all with stealth. It was a good time.

I always enjoyed the druid/ranger synergy both in terms of rp opportunities while adventuring and mechanically

Druid/Monk + Ranger/Rogue is an unstoppable PvE duo. I miss Serenity...

As long as the size of the party is equal to one of the first three prime numbers (2,3,5) or four(4) I don't mind the classes. Anything above that is just not fun for me anymore.

Easiest time I ever had was with

1) (Sustained) DPS
2) (AC) Tank

If one of them is a cleric, all the better.

If there had to be a third either an archer (to pew pew those mages before reached), a warlock (same purpose as the archer, though some shared with the next), or a mage (for when stuff goes wrong).

Actually, the easiest time I had was when partied with a druid back when companions were OP, but I didn't really play so much as watch and eat experience.

Since my introduction to D&D with the red box set, I've always liked a nice mix of classes and races. So a male dwarven warrior of some sort, female human cleric/priest, male human pally, him rogue, half elf ranger, elven wizard. Suppose it's all stereo type but yeah.
